Sierra Trading Post is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! As we approach this significant milestone, we can’t help but reflect on what has allowed us to keep going strong over the last quarter century: our loyal customers. Our company would be nothing without the support of our customers, and we have always believed that is the key to our ongoing success. To test our theory, we reached out to a few of our loyal fans to hear what they had to say and get their stories.
Here’s what Ed had to say:
Ed has been shopping with Sierra Trading Post for just about as long as we’ve been in business. Interestingly enough, Ed became a STP customer after a neighbor’s catalog was mistakenly delivered to his door. After thumbing through our catalog, Ed did what any good neighbor would do, and returned it, but not before jotting down the phone number so he could get on the mailing list.
We asked Ed how we’ve improved over the years, and this is what he had to say: “I am most impressed with your website. You really do deliver more information about your products than any other company I know. I am especially impressed with the reviews of your products, which, it seems to me, you do not filter. You also continue to offer products that I would never have expected.”
Ed keeps returning to Sierra Trading Post for two simple reasons: “quality and bargain prices.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. He also enjoys our rock-solid return policy, which he’s had to use on a few occasions. Aside from customer service, Ed believes in our ethical business model, which we have worked hard to maintain throughout our 25 years in the biz.
“I have a great deal of trust that you will operate as you claim,” Ed told us. “I am impressed.”
