You’re the reason we launched The Daily Green in 2007 as a consumer’s guide to green. We sensed that there was a keen need for tips, news and recipes to help consumers live a more sustainable lifestyle, and a million people like you every month proved us right.
The Daily Green doesn’t exist without its readers. That’s why we want you know that, in the coming days, The Daily Green will merge with Good Housekeeping.
The Daily Green has been affiliated with the venerable Good Housekeeping brand for several years, and we’ve shared a particularly gratifying and close relationship with the Good Housekeeping Research Institute. The institute is responsible for testing the products that earn the Green Good Housekeeping Seal, which is catching on fast as a trusted marker for consumers wishing to buy products that not only achieve their advertised benefits, but also meet strict sustainability standards.
Those ties will only be stronger as we move forward, with your favorite content from The Daily Green found on GoodHousekeeping.com, along with fresh product reviews, recipes and other information essential to green consumers.
In many ways, this development is a sign that green is no longer the niche it once was, but an integral part of the consumer experience. That, too, is because of you: Educating yourself and your friends has helped to make green mainstream.
On behalf of the many people who have contributed to The Daily Green over the years, thank you. We’ll see you over at GoodHousekeeping.com.
Sincerely,
Dan Shapley
